I can remember when I had my children. I had four c-section. Each of my children weigh over 9lb's. My middle son weigh 10lb and 8oz. I really didn't get a chance to experience labor. I think if I did experience labor I would have stop at 2 children. I chose this example because I feel as though I miss the most miracle part of given birth.
Wow....some pretty big babies! I am almost there with you on C-sections- I had 3 (due to the fact of breech births). If I had control and could have chosen my birthing environment, I would have had home births (but my births were high risk due to position). I also feel I missed out on the true laboring and delivery in some ways. Needless to say they were all so special to me. Good to see you back in class with me again! Again, remind me where you are from ? (I can't remember from our other class together) I am from Tennessee.
ReplyDeleteHi Selena,
ReplyDeleteI'am happy to hear from you. I'am from New Jersey. I should say South Jersey. I live near the shore.Breech birth that had to be so difficult. It is good to hear I am not the only one who had c-section. Trust me, it wasn't by choice. My pelvic area was considered to be to small and my doctor was afraid I would have plenty of complication after vaginal delivery. So to stay on the safe side it was much safer for me and my four children.
